Synopsis
After the out-of-box configuration is complete, the Spans on the Controller Card restart offline
More Information
After an out-of-box configuration is complete, the Spans restart offline automatically so that you can configure them with the proper telephony settings before placing them inline.
To bring the Spans inline
- In the tree pane, right-click the Span, then click ASCII Management Interface. (You can multi-select Spans and open all of their ASCII Management Interfaces simultaneously.)
- In the Enter Command for Span box, type one of the following:T1 CAS or T1 PRI SpansT1 INLINEE1 SpansE1 INLINE
- Press ENTER. (You must do this separately for each Span selected.)
- In the Enter Command for Span box, type RESTART, then press ENTER.
