Synopsis

After the out-of-box configuration is complete, the Spans on the Controller Card restart offline

More Information

After an out-of-box configuration is complete, the Spans restart offline automatically so that you can configure them with the proper telephony settings before placing them inline.

To bring the Spans inline

  1. In the tree pane, right-click the Span, then click ASCII Management Interface. (You can multi-select Spans and open all of their ASCII Management Interfaces simultaneously.)
  2. In the Enter Command for Span box, type one of the following:T1 CAS or T1 PRI SpansT1 INLINEE1 SpansE1 INLINE
  3. Press ENTER. (You must do this separately for each Span selected.)
  4. In the Enter Command for Span box, type RESTART, then press ENTER.
