To change the auto-negotiation, speed, and duplex configuration for an ethernet port,
enter the following command on a serial, telnet, or ASCII Management interface:
ethconfig [AUTONEG on|off] [SPEED 10|100|1000] [DUPLEX half|full]
For any other ethernet port configuration options not supported by the ‘ethconfig’
command, use the ‘sys ethtool’ command. Enter “sys ethtool eth0” at ETM:1(r/w)>
prompt from the serial or telnet interfaces. The ‘sys ethtool’ command is not
supported on the ASCII Management interface.
These commands only apply for the following ETM System appliance models: 1012, 1024,
1060, 1090, 3000, 3070, 4000, 4070.
