In the ETM System appliances, the Security Policy Processor (SPP) formats
phone number objects for processing according to settings in the
npconfig.properties file. By default, the npconfig.properties file is
configured to format only North American numbers (any number with a country code of
1) as standard numbers. Any other numbers are formatted as
international numbers. To specify a different local country code, edit the
npconfig.properties file as described in this article.
