ETM® System and 2007 Daylight Savings Time Change

Article #ETM270

Beginning in 2007, Daylight Savings Time (DST) in the United States and its
territories will be extended by about a month. For those areas that observe DST, this
means that in 2007, DST begins on March 11 and ends on November 4, while in 2008, DST
begins on March 9 and ends on November 2. This change is in accordance with an energy
bill passed by the U.S. Congress in 2005.

To ensure that the ETM® System properly transitions to the new start and end dates,
SecureLogix recommends that customers apply a patch to the Java Runtime Environment
(JRE), an application that was included with the ETM System when it was first
installed. Detailed instructions on how to obtain and install the JRE patch will be
available through the SecureLogix® Knowledge Base
(http://support.securelogix.com/knowledgebase.htm) by February 12, 2007.
