Generating Reports of Vertical Service Codes (*69 calls)

Synopsis

In the TeleAudit^® Usage Manager, you can generate reports of outbound calls that used Vertical Service Codes, such as *69, *70, and so on.

By default, the ETM^® System stores any Vertical Service Codes associated with a call in the Prefix column of the call information in the ETM Database, and VSC appears in the Destination Details column.

To define a Report Element to show VSC calls

• Create a report filter that looks for the specific service code that you want to show in the report:
  1. On the Filter tab of the Report Element, click Modify.
  2. In the Filter dialog box, click Prefix. The Filter on Substring dialog box appears.
  3. In the Items containing substring box, type the value (e.g., *69) that you want to show in the report.
     Note: To show more than one Vertical Service Code in the report, create multiple filters using OR.
  4. Click OK to close the dialog boxes and save the Report Element.
• Create a report filter to show calls for which Destination Details contains VSC:
  1. On the Filter tab of the Report Element, click Modify.
  2. In the Filter dialog box, click Destination Details. The Filter on Substring dialog box appears.
  3. In the Items containing substring box, type VSC.
  4. Click OK to close the dialog boxes and save the Report Element.
