When the database statistics calculation and/or partitioning scripts are configured as Scheduled Tasks on the Windows operating system, the tasks run using the Windows login username and password assigned to each task. If the password for the username is changed/expired, the Scheduled Task cannot run.
All versions of the ETM® System are affected.
If the password is changed/expired for a username that is configured to run a Scheduled Task, you must also change the password in the properties of the Scheduled Task.
For details of editing a Scheduled Task, see the Windows online Help. For details of scheduling database statistics, see “Scheduling the Statistics Calculation and Partitioning Scripts” in Knowledg e Base Article #INS670, Oracle Database Creation and Configuration for the ETM® System v4.0.
